I joined the faculty in the Fall of 1989. I came from Southern California, where
I had been teaching part-time and completing a full-time post-doctoral position
at an outpatient center treating sex offenders. I received my Ph.D. from
Louisiana State University in 1988 where I majored in Adult Clinical Psychology
and minored in Behavior Neurology.
I teach courses
at the undergraduate level where I specialize in general psychology,
counseling, personality, psychology of women, psychological assessment,
psychological disorders, and clinical neuropsychology.
My academic interests include the
profession of teaching, program assessment, the psycho-socio-biological factors effecting gender

Effective Teaching, Co-chair of the President's Commission on the Status of
Women, Chair of the Sabbatical Committee, Chair of the Faculty Professional
