Program Change Proposal: BS Exceptional Persons. Change name to: BS Disability Services Administration. New Program Description for Catalog: The Department also offers a B.S. program in Disability Services Administration designed for those interested in working with individuals with disabilities in a setting not requiring teacher certification.|
Career opportunities include human service career workers; group home direct care workers and managers; child care/adult care workers in public and private residential facilities; direct care workers in intermediate care facilities for individuals with mental retardation; manager of special community programs for people with disabilities; mental health and mental retardation support staff; trainers and client supervisors in sheltered workshops; rehabilitation workers; job coaches.
Old Business: Several proposals left over from last Spring should be going to AAC soon and were "CAN'ed" last semester. These proposals include a program change for the BS Business Administration-International Business, a course change for BUS 420, and a new program proposal for a BS Political Science.|
