Course Change Proposals:Add the following to the list of courses that satisfy General Education Distribution Requirements in Block V - Social Science. All courses count towards minors in Anthropology and Sociology. Most count toward other minors and programs.

Course Change Proposal: HON 301 - Field Methods in the Natural and Social Sciences (3 to 3/4). Nature of changes: Allow course to count for 3 or 4 credits depending on the course it's cross-listed with. Rationale: HON 301 is cross-listed with different courses each semester. This change will allow it to be cross-listed with both 3- and 4-credit courses.

New Course Proposal: PSC 389 - Vietnam War (3). This course will be cross-listed with the existing course HST 389 - Vietnam War (3). This proposal will only add the prefix PSC to HST 389.

New Course Proposal: COM 321 - Visual Presentations (3). Purpose and nature of course: This course will familiarize business owners, civic leaders, corporate communicators, teachers and PR students with developing flyers and brochures for special events, promoting and advertising goods and services on their own web page, and creating graphic presentations for customers at trade shows, board rooms or civic centers.
