COURSE CHANGE PROPOSAL
Remove the prerequisites from the following courses so that they can be considered for inclusion in the new general education proposal:
ANH 260: Archaelogical Methods
ANH 308: Sub-Sahara Africa
ANH 350: Selected Topics Seminar
ANH 410: Ethnographic Field Methods
SOC 200: American Minorities
SOC 301: Organizational Behavior
SOC 305: Sociology of Religion
SOC 307: Social Research I
One of the goals of the new gen ed proposal is to allow more flexibility for students to fill their gen ed requirements. The model under consideration also includes a global awareness and information technology requirement.
These courses directly address these requirements. By deleting prerequisites, students will be given more choices to fulfill the requirements.
Courses directly related to Global Awareness: ANH 260, ANH 308, ANH 350, SOC 200, SOC 305
Courses directly related to Information Technology: ANH 260, ANH 410, SOC 307
