The Department of Biology has requested the following curricular actions:

# 1 Action:
Course Change: BI 1100 Orientation to Biology

Purpose and nature of change:
To change the final grade for the course BI 1100 from Pass/Fail with attendance required to a letter grade with attendance required. This change would make the students feel more comfortable with their final grade as well as be a better reflection of their personal effort into the course.

# 2 Action:
Course Change: BSC 1121 Human Anatomy & Physiology I

Purpose and nature of change:
To restrict enrollment in Human Anatomy & Physiology I (BSC 1121) to majors in Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, Music Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Radiology Technology or permission of instructor. Majors in these programs are required to take this course. The purpose of the change is to ensure that there are sufficient numbers of seats available to majors in these programs to accommodate the high demand for this course.

Describe any student enrollment restrictions:
Enrollment in Human Anatomy & Physiology I (BSC 1121) is restricted to majors in Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, Music Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Radiology Technology or permission of instructor.

Course Change: BSC 1122 Human Anatomy & Physiology II

Purpose and nature of change:
To restrict enrollment in Human Anatomy & Physiology II (BSC 1122) to majors in Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, Music Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Radiology Technology or permission of instructor. Majors in these programs are required to take this course. The purpose of the change is to ensure that there are sufficient numbers of seats available to majors in these programs to accommodate the high demand for this course.
