Curricular Action Notice – Psychology

1. Program changes for the Psychology, Human Resource Management concentration:

  1. Changes to the “psychology requirements,” including: wording changes to the concentration’s catalogue description; a new 1 credit course: PSY 3351, “Career Planning,”; recognition of renamed courses (PSY 1151, now “Orientation to Psychology”; PSY 2206, now “Research Methods I”; PSY 3306, now “Research Methods II”); removing the option of PSY 3304, “Survey Research Methods” (this course is being deleted); and within the psychology elective course block, “Must take 6 s.h. from,” removal of PSY 4462, “Behavior Modification,” and addition of PSY 4441, “Psychology and the Law”.
  2. Changes to the non-psychology elective course block (“Must take 12 s.h. from”): Addition of BUS 3325, “Business Leadership”
