1.     COURSE CHANGE: CJA 3355

Purpose and nature of change: Name change of course and description only, to reflect current legal terminology.

Old Course Title:   Evidence and Criminal Procedure

New Course Title: Constitutional Criminal Procedure

Abbreviated Title (for Master Schedule): Const. Crim. Proc.

Course Description for Catalog (limit to four sentences):

The theme of this course is centered on balancing the values which are central to our constitutional democracy; community security and individual liberty.  The Constitutional basis for the law of criminal procedure will be explored by reading and discussing Supreme Court decisions regarding Due Process, Equal Protection, arrest, search and seizure.

Prerequisites:  CJA 1100, CJA 2200, CJA 2201.

Describe any student enrollment restrictions (limited to majors in program XXX, restricted from majors in program XXX, etc.)  Restricted to majors in criminal justice.

 

2.     COURSE CHANGE: ARH 1101 (Introduction to Art)

Purpose and nature of change: ___Course description for catalog change to reflect the  content of course

Course Description for Catalog (limit to four sentences):  A global approach to the dominant movements and ideas in art from the Paleolithic period through the twenty-first century.  No prerequisite.

Request that Course be considered for General Education Credit.  Please check all
