Problem 1.  A random sample of 60 male honey badgers weights has a sample mean of 27 lbs.  The sample sd is 6lbs.  Find a 92% confidence interval for the mean badgers weight.  Oh you can't.  Assume that honey badger weights and normally distributed.  (No, I didn't go to Africa and weight honey badgers.  I made it all up.)

Problem 2.  A set of 20 groundwater samples has a sample mean temperature of 21 degrees C.   The standard deviation is known to be 3 degrees C.  Find a 90% confidence interval for the mean.

Problem 3.  A random sample of 50 cars in Okay OK gets a mean gas mileage of 25.5 mpg per vehicle. Assume the population standard deviation is 7.6 mpg. Find a 90, 95 and 99% confidence interval for the mean.
