1) The class divides in two halves (right and left).

2) On the right side of the room, the students break into groups of two, place their heads down, and close their eyes.

3) On the left side of the room, every other student takes out a white sheet of paper.

4) First, the student with the paper writes his/her name down and the name of the person next to him/her. (Only two names should be on a piece of paper)

5) Then, other student writes down name of something they are excited about (baseball, dance, friends, etc.)

6) Next, the first student writes down the name of thing they are nervous about (driving, getting married, etc.)

7) Finally, the second student writes a concept that each of them would like to learn in this class.

8) Finally, one of the students crumples the paper in to a ball.

9) On my command, the students throw their balls a the other side of the room.
